Technology Solutions That Work SeminarOne of the most fundamental questions that educational technology advocates face is "Why should we use technology in classrooms?" The research conducted over the past twenty years has provided mixed, inconsistent and incomplete answers.
But this is beginning to change. Research does show that classroom use of educational technology, when used appropriately, impacts student learning on standardized assessments positively and significantly.
The "Technology Solutions That Work!" seminar provided by the Metiri Group provided many answers to this and many other questions about technology use in schools. Held at ESD 105 in November 2003 and at ESD 112 in 2002, this is one of the most significant seminars we have provided. This presentation will be presented annually in Washington at all ESDs on a rotating basis.
