| While most teachers are aware of the influx of technology into schools and everyday life, many are unprepared to use technology in their classrooms. Many teachers do not know where to begin learning how to do so. In this module, teachers who are technology novices will gain a better understanding of some key issues surrounding technology integration, such as how to incorporate technology standards and how to distinguish between types of technology. To bring your learning from this module into the classroom, you will focus on the integration of technology into one lesson. | Many educators avoid using the Web as a resource in their classrooms because students have not acquired the skills needed to effectively use the Internet.
