| 2007-2010 Technology Planning Process | The process of developing technology plans in Washington State is significantly different from other states. All districts develop 3-year technology plans including building and district inititatives. The educational foundation of the technology plan is drawn from building-level school improvement plans. A specific template structure was developed in 2004 to streamline the planning process. Currently, districts complete their plan using the online tool (See below). Buildings CAN complete their SIP plan online at OSPI. District Staff MUST complete the district templates online at OSPI. Login > "School Improvement Planning" > Select your district > Select the checkbox for "District Technology Plan" > Click the "QuickStart" button The ETSC can meet with district administrators and building SIP members to help facilitate and inform this process.
